The Role

We are looking for a senior backend engineer to help design, own, and build the distributed control-plane services behind the Netris platform.

This role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, hands-on distributed systems experience, and the ability to translate high-level infrastructure requirements into scalable, production-grade system designs and implementations.

Engineers in this role are expected to take ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, observability, and long-term system evolution within a fast-moving infrastructure startup environment.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Own the design and implementation of scalable backend services powering network automation workflows
  • Drive architectural decisions across APIs, internal services, and distributed control-plane components
  • Build REST APIs using Node.js and gRPC services using Golang
  • Design resilient distributed systems for high-scale infrastructure environments
  • Improve system scalability, observability, resiliency, and operational reliability
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure, networking, and product teams
  • Drive engineering best practices around reliability, testing, and CI/CD
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Node.js and Golang
  • Hands-on experience building distributed systems
  • Experience with MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, gRPC, Linux, and containers
  • Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellenceAbility to translate high-level requirements into technical designs and production-ready implementations
Nice to Have
