Job Title: P/T Bourbon Event Specialist

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an engaging individual looking for a few extra hours a week in the events, sales, and marketing space as a part-time Bourbon Event Ambassador. This is an exciting opportunity for someone in the spirits industry interested in the events and supplier side of the business or a marketing, sales or events focused person interested in learning about the industry. It will start as 3-10 hours a week based on existing event/tasting needs, but could increase with opportunities that this new team member identifies or builds.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Off-Premise Samplings: Engage with customers at liquor stores and share with them the brand’s story and taste them on our whiskies. Drive sales and build future brand fans.

· Event Support: Help the Ingram team execute local Louisville area brand events and activations, from the booth setup to helping batch cocktails, pouring samples, ringing up purchases, etc.

· Setup: Arriving early to help setup our booth or table with storytelling materials, fun keepsakes and whiskey (and cocktail ingredients when applicable). Check shelf pricing and inventory for liquor store tastings.

· Recaps: Share your learnings and feedback from customer conversations to help us continue to create bourbons that they love and memorable/useful educational tools. Share count of guests interacted with and bottles sold.

Pay: $20-30/hour commensurate to experience

What You’ll Bring:

· Reliable and Timely: It is incredibly important that when we tell a charity partner, liquor store, or event manager that we will be there, we are there on time and helping make what they are doing as much of a success as possible!

· Friendly and Personable: We need a storyteller who enjoys engaging with amazing partners and potential customers to share the passion for what we do and then let them taste for themselves why we go through the extra work of our innovative process!

· Follow-Through: Comfortable getting people’s attention to come over and spend a couple of minutes with you and our whiskey. And then comfortable asking (never pushing) for the sale.

Job Requirements:

· Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and be able to drive/travel through the designated market area.

· STAR certification or willingness to get the certification during training (cost will be covered by the brand)

· Ability to lift 30 pounds and transport, set up and tear down equipment

· Willing to work in or outdoors depending on the event location

· 21+

· Hours: average 3-10 hours a week. Days and hours will vary depending on event and team availability. Looking for support at 1-2 events or liquor store tastings per week. Typically afternoons or evenings either Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Can be some flexibility on which of those four days of the week.

· Pay will be hourly and commiserate to experience.
