This person will need to reside within commuting distance to our Linthicum HQ and will be required to come into the office to facilitate training.

What you will do:
The Senior Organizational Learning Specialist will provide facilitation, technical, and administrative learning support functions for the HRD and Organizational Learning team. This position will be responsible for the facilitation, scheduling, and support of all technical related training for SECU's various technical systems, in addition to supporting competency and enterprise-based development programs. This position will require a significant amount of direct Retail Banking experience and subject matter expertise in all aspects of systems, procedural, and operational processes used within a financial center or branch environment.
The Senior Organizational Learning Specialist will have a solid understanding of sales and service delivery programs as well as direct experience with the administration of credit, consumer and business lending, consumer and business banking including deposit products, and knowledge of and experience with Wealth Management and IRA products.
The Senior Organizational Learning Specialist adheres to regulations and organizational policies, maintaining awareness and knowledge required to perform the duties of the position, including all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations, such as OFAC, and the USA Patriot Act, Fair Lending and Information Security.
A day in your life might include:
โ€ข Facilitate technical training programs for new and existing employees.
โ€ข Recommend and implement approved changes to enhance all aspects of the learning experience.
โ€ข Provide one-on-one training sessions as requested.
โ€ข Facilitate training related to onboarding including, but not limited to, orientation and coursework that supports core values.
โ€ข Work collaboratively with members of the HRD/Organizational Learning team and other business units/stakeholders to assist, deliver, and create new training classes and programs.
โ€ข Participate in new product/service implementation.
โ€ข Review scope of project and recommend training solutions.
Additional Responsibilities may include:
โ€ข Evaluate the effectiveness and success of training by using qualitative, quantitative, and behavioral based metrics.
โ€ข Maintain all training materials to ensure information is relevant, accurate, and current.
Education and Experience Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in human resources, Education, or related field.
โ€ข At least 3 to 5 years of experience in facilitation of training and instructional design.
โ€ข 3 to 5 years of experience with financial institutions training required.
โ€ข Experience in facilitating and/or designing technical training preferred.
โ€ข Experience developing content suited for multiple delivery channels (instructor-led classes, online virtual classes, computer-based training [CBT] and self-paced training material).
โ€ข Experience creating process documents to be used in the flow of work (job aids, etc.).
โ€ข Experience using Articulate Rise preferred.
โ€ข Experience with core software OSI/FISERV preferred.
Physical Requirements
โ€ข Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
โ€ข Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. Please Note: We typically hire at or below mid-point, which is $115,100 for this role.
  • Salary: Min. $88,500 - Max. $141,700
