Title: Intelligence Analyst (Cyber) - Level II
Location: 119 D Street, N.E Washington, DC Monday-Friday on-site (with occasional duty on weekends)
Duration: 1 years, with 4 optional years

Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a year of start
Salary: $80,000 with no clearance, $85,000 with a TS/SCI clearance
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in intelligence, law enforcement, security, or related field and must possess at least five of cumulative experience in open-source intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting. At this level, CIRSs often work independently and support major tasks in addition to Level 1 work. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, four additional years of experience are required for Intelligence Analyst level and two additional years of experience with an associate's degree in a relatable field.
Job Description: Analysts will conduct all-source research and analysis using open-source, commercial, and government databases to identify threats, security concerns, and intelligence gaps, compiling their findings into written assessments and briefings to support protective and security programs. They will evaluate and interpret intelligence reports, provide situational awareness through outreach with law enforcement, and apply methods such as Behavioral Threat Assessment Management and cyber threat intelligence analysis to support investigations and crisis management. Additionally, analysts must meet stringent security and eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree, a background investigation, and eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance, while the Lead Analyst will oversee operations, ensure compliance with policies, and manage the workflow and quality of intelligence products.
Must possess at least five of cumulative experience in open-source intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting. At this level, CIRSs often work independently and support major tasks in addition to Level 1 work.
Key Responsibilities:
Cyber background provides the technical context, threat awareness, and operational discipline required to:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information from diverse sources to produce actionable intelligence that supports law enforcement, national security, and Department decision-making
  • Gather intelligence from a wide range of sources, including law enforcement databases, open-source information, classified materials, and human intelligence reports
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that reveal criminal, intelligence, or security threats.
  • Use analytic methodologies, statistical tools, and software, to transform raw information into meaningful insights that guide operational planning and strategic decisions.
  • Produce intelligence reports, assessments, and briefing materials tailored to various audiences, including investigators, command staff, stakeholders, and partner agencies.
  • Provide both strategic and tactical support to operations.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with other intelligence units, investigative entities, and external partners.
  • Remain proficient with emerging technologies and methodologies that enhance data exploitation, visualization, and predictive analysis.
  • Uphold all applicable legal, ethical, and privacy standards governing intelligence collection, retention, and dissemination.
  • Prepare and deliver oral briefings and presentations clearly communicating analytical findings, risk assessments, and intelligence gaps.
  • Stay current on analytical methodologies, emerging criminal and intelligence trends, and technological innovations to enhance the effectiveness of intelligence operations.
  • Provide direct analytical support throughout the investigative process assisting investigators in developing investigative strategies, compiling target profiles, and identifying potential witnesses or suspects.
  • Assist in identifying and developing intelligence related to criminal enterprises, networks, and emerging threats.

Analysts shall be assigned daily assignments and longer-term projects. All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with training, policies, procedures, Directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and other guidance (collectively referred to as "policies") for the performance of those duties.
All Analysts shall be required to be capable to perform the following:
  • Conduct all-source research, analysis, and production.
  • Have strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft complete, accurate, and grammatically correct reports.
  • Employ meticulous documentation skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail to support the drafting of assessments.
  • Utilize Government furnished technology and tools only for the purposes of conducting the services required under this contract.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must meet the following qualifications, to be vetted by the contract agency prior to referral.
  • Possess a valid high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED), or equivalency.
  • Be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyewear) state driver's license.
  • Must be clearable to a TS/SCI clearance

Must meet the following standards and qualifications:
  • Pass a background security investigation.
  • Successfully complete all on-boarding training to include online mandatory training and on-the-job training.
  • Sign and be subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.
