Job description

Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Property/Asset Manager to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard.
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and enforce enterprise property/accountability policies, barcoding/RFID controls, and inventory governance standards.
  • Maintain and reconcile fielded baselines with program leadership, CORs, TPOCs, and operational teams; manage DPAS or equivalent property records.
  • Lead lifecycle planning: refresh schedules, modernization tracking, disposition, and ROMs for replacement/refresh activities.
  • Oversee shipping/logistics coordination, warranty management, vendor RMAs, spares provisioning, and COOP sustainment readiness.
  • Manage DD Form 250 validation, transfer documentation, property hand receipts, and end-of-life disposition processes per contract and USG requirements.
  • Produce asset reporting, inventory reconciliation, audit artifacts, and analytics for PMRs and governance reviews.
  • Coordinate with procurement, contracts, finance, and engineering on acquisition planning, acceptance, and transition support.
  • Maintain asset data integrity, perform periodic inventories, resolve discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support audits/inspections and provide required evidence and corrective action trackers.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Clearance: TS/SCI (active)
  • Education / Training / Certification: Candidate must meet ONE:
    • Master's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Information Technology; OR
    • Completion of relevant government/military training (DAU ACQ 101, Army Property Book Officer Course, DPAS training); OR
    • Relevant certification (IAM Certificate, CHAMP, CAPM, CompTIA Project+).
  • Experience: Property/asset management, logistics, or supply-chain experience; prior DoD/contract property management preferred.
  • Knowledge: DPAS or equivalent property systems, DD250 processes, FAR/DFARS property clauses, lifecycle/disposition rules, and audit readiness requirements.
  • Skills: Strong reconciliation, reporting, stakeholder coordination, logistics/vendor management, and documentation skills.

Desired / Preferred
  • Prior experience as Property Book Officer, PMO asset manager, or large DoD program property lead
  • Familiarity with barcoding/RFID systems, CMDB integration, and asset lifecycle analytics
  • Experience supporting CPSR/CORI/CCRI property and audit requirements

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
