Associated Heating and Air Conditioning is looking for a HVAC Dispatcher!ย

The HVAC Dispatcher will maintain communication with the electricians to coordinate dispatch board and any/all electrical calls. The HVAC Dispatcher will maintain the schedules of field technicians ensuring they are connecting with the customers and ensuring prompt responses for both routine maintenance and emergency service calls.ย ย 

Rate of pay: $19.00 - $22.00 DOE

Location: 90330 Hwy 99N Eugene, OR 97402

Essential Job Functions

  • Dispatch Electricians using Service Titan
  • Receive and respond to all client inquires and complaints
  • Coordinate the schedule and monitor the dispatch board
  • Prioritize the most urgent customer appointments
  • Ensure quality customer experience by relaying detailed and accurate information to the electricians in the field
  • Analyze and solve issues impacting electricians and customers
  • Daily follow up on after hours call
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Hours:ย Normal Business Hoursย - Monday-Friday - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

This is a non-exempt position. Work hours to be determined based on the needs of the business. Overtime may be required based on the needs of the business.

Competencies

  • Experience in HVAC service-dispatching position is preferred, but will consider a candidate with 2+ย years of Dispatch experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including active listening
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to be empathetic and resolve customer grievances
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service in stressful situations
  • Must have the ability to work in a team environment

Work Environment

Standard office with shared common space and individual workspaces with dividers.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
  • Prolonged periods of working at a computer
  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds

Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six (6) months of previous dispatch experience preferred
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite
