Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative Position Summary:

Frontier Logistics Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Intermodal Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to support our year-round operations in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and operations management, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As the Intermodal Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, overseeing drivers and company-owned trucks, and maintaining positive relationships with customers and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily terminal operations, schedule driver routes, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager on driver qualification, hiring, and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company guidelines, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate rates, pricing agreements, and service contracts with customers and vendors.
  • Dispatch and schedule pick-ups and deliveries for steady routes, optimizing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage documentation related to operations and customer service.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation and operations management within the trucking industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
