Job description

Position Summary:
A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Dedicated Dispatcher to join our team in Chicopee, MA. In this key position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our dedicated drivers. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent communication with drivers, resolving issues promptly, and supporting drivers with schedule updates, route changes, and daily operational needs.
Schedule: 6 AM
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
  • Dispatching drivers in TMW system; managing assigned driver schedules
  • Making sure that drivers show up for assigned start time so they can meet customers cut times
  • Interacting with customers shipping team
  • Insuring sure drivers are following PYLE SOPS (fuel at the end of shift, DVIR, accurate paperless logs)

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Good computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft desired
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Good communication skills; excellent attention to detail and decision making skills
  • Team oriented with good interpersonal skills; demonstrates initiative

The following skillsets are preferred:
  • LTL/Dedicated transportation or warehouse operations background
  • Prior dispatch and routing experience
