Roseville, MI

Onsite Role:

Day Shift 9AM to 9PM

Dispatchers play a crucial role in coordinating the timely transport of life-saving critical supplies for our clients.

  • Managing Requests: Efficiently handling urgent pickup and delivery requests, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinating Logistics: Prioritize routes, schedules, and critical requests for drivers, optimizing delivery times while maintaining safety and compliance.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and contractors, providing updates and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving: Quickly assess and resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment to ensure service continuity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other Dispatchers and our Recruiting Division to align with contractor availability and ensure seamless operations.

Dispatching Responsibilities:

  • Dispatching: Assign contractors to designated locations based on customer requests.
  • Delivery Management: Create, schedule, and maintain deliveries to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Utilize Software Tools: Use Dispatching and Delivery APP software systems to track & trace products and monitor the entire delivery process.
  • Route Monitoring: Keep an eye on product while in transit, providing customers with timely updates on pickup and delivery statuses.
  • Manage Multi-Line Phone Systems: Operate multiple phone lines, prioritizing calls effectively in a high-volume environment.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

Dispatching Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years Dispatching and 2 years of experience using Dispatching software and/or TMS software.
  • Customer Service: 3-4 years of outstanding customer service experience.
  • Professionalism: Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable with technology and eager to stay updated on new tools and software.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
  • Positive Attitude: Must maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude while effectively handling challenging situations with composure.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
