Job description

The Dispatcher is accountable for coordinating all transportation services provided to participants and potential enrollees, as well as overseeing vehicle safety.

  • Coordinate add-ons, cancellations, no-shows, and last-minute changes, all while ensuring a seamless participant experience

On the day-to-day, you will:

  • Create and manage daily transportation schedules, adjusting to accommodate cancellations, add-ons, and last-minute requests
  • Perform active dispatching to support daily transportation operations
  • Maintain a daily call log for operational tracking and communication
  • Monitor and respond to HUB inquiries and operational requests
  • Update schedules based on Direct Line changes and updates
  • Provide timely documentation of cancellations or no-shows, communicating any missed appointments with the clinic team
  • Provide weekend dispatch coverage as needed

Job requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalency; professional experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a public or private transportation setting
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a dispatcher setting
  • Current valid state driver's license and vehicle insurance required
  • Participate in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass DOT physical exam
  • Must maintain the eligibility to drive under WelbeHealth's commercial auto insurance program; applicants must generally be at least 25 years of age; candidates ages 23–24 may be considered based on driving history and other underwriting criteria; drivers over age 70 may be required to provide current medical certification
