Air Logistics Operational Care Team Leader

How you create impact
As a Dispatch Operations Supervisor, you will lead the dispatch team supporting second-shift and weekend operations. You will help keep daily dispatch activity running smoothly by coordinating drivers, addressing operational issues, and supporting the Dispatch Manager with staffing and workflow needs.
  • Lead and provide guidance to dispatch employees
  • Coordinate driver availability, job assignments, pickups, and deliveries
  • Dispatch work quickly and accurately while ensuring drivers cross-reference alert information in the Quick mobile app
  • Work closely with drivers to assign new jobs, obtain PODs and charges, and resolve pickup or airline issues
  • Communicate with Control Towers, airlines, and vendors regarding shipment status and operational needs
  • Support training, scheduling, payroll coverage, and staffing based on workload
  • Document and escalate operational issues, accidents, and driver incidents according to company procedures
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, pallet jack, and forklift duties when needed

What we would like you to bring
  • Five years of relevant industry experience
  • Previous leadership or team-lead experience
  • Strong knowledge of dispatch operations and driver coordination
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of domestic and international airline routings, geography, and time zones
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including second shift, Saturdays, extended hours, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Dangerous Goods and forklift certifications
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods and Restricted Article regulations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift and occasionally lift or move up to 70 pounds
