Job Description

Average pay $109k annually (hourly pay + O/T)
CDL A Flatbed Truck Driver - Regional | M-F, No Weekends, Home Most Nights

Schedule & Home Time
This is a regional position, not over-the-road. You'll run a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend dispatching. Most drivers are home every night - on average, you may sleep out 1-2 nights per week, and never more than 4 consecutive nights. You'll always have your weekends at home. 
Paid sleeper pay when sleeping out
AVG 50-60 hours per week, (O/T anything over 40hrs worked per week)

TBC is seeking an experienced Class A CDL truck driver,  based out of our Waterloo, IN facility. The ideal candidate will be experienced with securing and transporting deliveries  regionally, as well as delivering excellent customer service to our partners.  

Here is some insight into what your day-to-day will entail:

  • Use of Moffett for on job sites
  • Safely secures, loads and transports deliveries in accordance with company procedures and DOT regulations.
  • Obtains and maintains proper delivery authorization and pickup documentation. Verifies shipment documents to include bill of lading and work orders. 
  • Completes daily DOT pre-trip inspection and logbook.  Submits and verifies accuracy of information. 
  • Facilitates annual contractor show by transporting displays, setting up and breaking down the company display booth. 
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicle.  Reports on issues, accidents and damage to leadership team.      
  • Maintains and submits trip-related receipts and expenses.
  • .....and no tarping!
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or GED equivalent
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
  • 6 months + of commercial truck driving experience.  
  • Manual transmission experience (10 speed preferred)
  • Knowledge of applicable driving rules and regulations.
  • B Train experience is a plus (not required)

  • Time-management; enthusiasm for our products and desire to deliver them on time.
  • Organized and detail-oriented; keeps accurate records of documents, gas cards, receipts, etc.
