Job Overview
We are seeking experienced heavy industrial welders/fabricators to support the fabrication and repair of large mining components, including dippers (buckets). This role is critical to our operation-precision, quality, and adherence to OEM specifications are essential.
This is a hands-on position for welders who thrive inhigh-standard, heavy mechanical environments and take pride in building and repairing complex equipment that must meet strict engineering requirements.
The hours for this position vary, and currently are 12 hour days Monday to Friday, and 10 hours on Saturday.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Able to always perform required duties safely
  • Able to work overtime (70 hrs. a week) including weekends
  • Able to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Prep materials and components for fabrication and welding
  • Fabricate and weld large mining components, including repairs of dippers/buckets
  • Weld a 332 wire
  • Occasionally travel to mine sites to support field work (approximately 25% of the time)
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork

Qualifications/Requirements
  • MSHA Certification a Plus
  • Clean background check
  • Able to pass respirator fit test
  • Able to pass 3G and 4G weld test
  • MSHA Certification a Plus
