About the Role

The Disney Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Creator Content & Partnerships team is redefining how Disney connects with audiences through creator-led storytelling. By identifying, developing, and scaling partnerships with creators, talent, and digital media brands, the team delivers original content that expands the reach of Disney's iconic franchises while driving audience growth, engagement, and retention across Disney+ globally.

As audiences increasingly consume short-form video, podcasts, livestreams, and creator-first content, Disney is investing in innovative ways to meet fans where they are. The Senior Manager, Creator Content & Partnerships will play a pivotal role in shaping this evolution by leading the strategy, creative development, and execution of creator-led content initiatives that strengthen Disney's connection with audiences around the world.

Reporting to the Director, Creator Content & Partnerships, this leader will oversee a high-performing team responsible for developing scalable creator programs, producing innovative creator content, and building strategic partnerships that deliver measurable business impact. The role requires a unique blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, operational excellence, and exceptional relationship management.

The ideal candidate is deeply immersed in the creator economy, understands evolving platform behaviors, and has a proven track record of building creator-first strategies that translate into meaningful audience growth and cultural relevance.

What You'll Do Creator Strategy & Partnership Leadership
  • Define and lead the long-term strategy for Disney's Creator Content & Partnerships initiatives in support of Disney+ audience growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Creator Content & Partnerships team while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Develop scalable creator partnership programs that connect creators, talent, and digital media brands with Disney's iconic stories and franchises.
  • Oversee Disney's TikTok Creator Program and other strategic creator initiatives, ensuring successful execution while identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with creators, talent representatives, agencies, media partners, and emerging voices across the creator ecosystem.
  • Design partnership frameworks and creator engagement models that foster long-term collaboration while delivering measurable business results.
  • Identify emerging platforms, consumer behaviors, and creator trends to inform future content and partnership strategies.
Creator Content Strategy & Creative Leadership
  • Lead the creative vision and strategic direction for creator-led content initiatives across Disney+.

  • Guide creative ideation, campaign development, and executive presentations for large-scale creator initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Programming, Product, Editorial, and Creative teams to develop innovative creator-first content experiences across owned and earned channels.
  • Champion experimentation with emerging content formats while maintaining brand integrity and audience relevance.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Creator Content & Partnerships team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Build strong partnerships across Marketing, Product, Programming, Content, Sales, Analytics, Partnerships, Legal, and International teams to align creator initiatives with Disney+ business priorities.
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert on creator marketing, creator content, and the evolving creator economy.
  • Influence executive stakeholders through thoughtful recommendations supported by audience insights, performance analytics, and industry intelligence.
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing scalable workflows, governance, and best practices that enable long-term growth.
Performance & Business Impact
  • Establish success metrics and evaluate creator initiatives through audience engagement, content performance, and business outcomes.
  • Leverage analytics, consumer insights, and performance data to optimize creator investment strategies and content programming.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Disney's creator ecosystem through innovative partnership models, emerging technologies, and evolving digital platforms.
  • Balance creative innovation with disciplined execution to deliver measurable impact against Disney+ business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in creator partnerships, influencer marketing, content strategy, digital marketing, entertainment, media, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale creator or influencer marketing programs from strategy through execution.
  • Extensive experience working directly with creators, talent agencies, management companies, and digital media partners.
  • Deep understanding of the creator economy, creator monetization models, audience behaviors, and evolving platform ecosystems.
  • Strong experience developing creator-led content strategies across platforms including TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and emerging digital channels.
  • Proven ability to lead highly visible cross-functional initiatives across Marketing, Product, Programming, Content, Analytics, Partnerships, and executive leadership.
  • Strong creative instincts with demonstrated experience developing compelling creative concepts, campaigns, and content strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, storytelling, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and attend industry events, creator activations, and relationship-building opportunities as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a leading entertainment, streaming, media, technology, or creator-focused organization.
  • Experience launching creator-led franchises, original programming, or large-scale digital content initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of internet culture, social trends, creator communities, and emerging media formats.
  • Experience managing high-volume creator campaigns and content operations.
  • Knowledge of audience development, performance marketing, and content monetization strategies.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners at all levels.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $126,800 to $170,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidateโ€™s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
