What is Disney Insurance?

Disney Insurance typically refers to the various insurance policies that The Walt Disney Company provides to protect its employees, operations, productions, and theme park guests. This can include health and life insurance for employees, liability insurance for theme parks, and specialized insurance for film productions and events. Disney ensures comprehensive coverage to mitigate risks associated with entertainment, hospitality, and media businesses, prioritizing the safety of its staff, guests, and assets.

What types of insurance policies does a Disney Insurance specialist typically handle, and how does the role support internal clients within the company?

A Disney Insurance specialist is responsible for managing a variety of insurance policies such as property, liability, workers’ compensation, travel, and event insurance tailored to the unique needs of a global entertainment company. The role involves collaborating closely with internal departments—like production, legal, and risk management—to assess coverage needs, ensure compliance, and mitigate risks on Disney properties and productions. Specialists also assist in processing claims, negotiating policy terms, and providing guidance on insurance requirements for new projects, which can be both challenging and rewarding given the diverse nature of Disney’s operations.

Job description

Veterinarian (DVM) - Disney Pet Hospital
Concord, CA
Join a team with heart, hustle, and humor where pets and their people come first.
Disney Pet Hospital is seeking a skilled, compassionate Veterinarian to join our growing general practice in Concord, CA. If you're looking for a clinic where you can practice high-quality medicine, build meaningful client relationships, and work with a supportive, collaborative team - we'd love to meet you!
The Role: Veterinarian
This is a full-time veterinarian position. You'll be involved in both general practice and urgent care cases, with the support of a strong clinical and administrative team.
What to Expect:
Step into a general practice environment that balances clinical excellence with a light-hearted team spirit. With 12 years of GP experience under our belt, we're confident in the care we provide and we support each other every step of the way.
You'll see a great variety of cases here, from general wellness and preventative care to walk-ins and urgent care. Our clinic is equipped with digital and dental radiography, in-house lab diagnostics, and we perform routine soft tissue surgery. We have a solid flow of loyal clients from the Concord community and surrounding areas, and a team that's all about pulling together, pitching in, and making it happen with a few laughs along the way.
Why Disney Pet Hospital?
At Disney Pet Hospital, pets and their people come first. We celebrate wins, support each other on tough days, and genuinely enjoy working together. We do what we say we will, treat each other like professionals, and never lose sight of the fun. No one goes it alone here. We're one team with one goal, and we're in it together.
About Our Hospital
Team: 1 CD | 2 RVTs | 2 VAs | 1 CSR
Equipment:
  • In-house lab
  • Digital X-ray
  • Dental X-ray
  • A surgical suite
  • Two exam rooms

Location Perks:
Disney Pet Hospital has been serving the Bay Area for 30+ years - and our community roots run deep. Concord offers the best of both worlds: suburban charm, a vibrant food scene, green spaces, and quick access to both San Francisco and wine country.
What You Bring:
You're a motivated, down-to-earth Veterinarian who values teamwork, communication, and compassionate care. A plus (but not required) if you have experience with exotics. Whether you're early in your career or bring years of expertise, if you're looking for a place where your skills are appreciated and your growth is supported - we'd love to hear from you.
Our Culture & Values:
We take pride in showing up for our community, their pets, and each other. We believe veterinary care should be excellent and approachable. Our team is hardworking, outgoing, and yes, a little silly when the moment calls for it. We're focused on personal and professional growth, built on trust, teamwork, and transparency, and genuinely passionate about client communication and care. Even on our busiest days, we have each other's backs and always make time to laugh.
What We Offer:
  • $150,000 - $180,000 base salary, + uncapped production bonus for unlimited earning potential with no negative accruals
  • Sign-on bonuses and relocation support available for qualified candidates based on experience and location
  • $2,000 annual CE allowance + 40 hours paid time to invest in your professional growth (based on four day work week)
  • 401(k) with 100% company match up to 4%
  • Generous discounts on care for multiple pets
  • Advanced clinical training across our hospital network with DVMs who specialize in cases typically referred out, allowing you to elevate your skillset beyond what most practices can offer.
  • Comprehensive medical (virtual care included), dental, and vision insurance to support your health while you care for theirs
  • Health and Dependent Care FSA/HSA accounts to maximize your tax savings and healthcare flexibility
  • Employer-paid life and AD&D insurance to protect what matters most
  • Short-term and long-term disability coverage to protect your income if life throws you a curveball.
  • Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program providing free mental health counseling, legal and financial consultations, and family support services available 24/7 for you and your loved ones.
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays to support your work-life balance
  • 2 complimentary scrub sets annually + 50% discount on additional uniforms
  • Consistent growth opportunities to advance your career
  • Annual engagement surveys so your voice shapes our workplace culture and policies
