About the Role & Team

The Consumer Payments group within The Walt Disney Company's Treasury department leads global direct-to-consumer payments strategy, manages payment relationships, and partners with business lines to drive and optimize operational and financial efficiencies across more than $40B in annual consumer payment volume.

What You Will Do

The Senior Payments Analyst will support major consumer payments initiatives and report to the Sr. Manager of Enterprise Consumer Payments. This role offers the opportunity to work across the Disney Experiences and Disney Entertainment business segments. The candidate must be able to support multiple consumer payments projects simultaneously while managing compressed timelines and shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full project management support to effectively drive projects forward.
  • Scope to intake new requests, identify payment product needs, gather business and technical requirements, build workflows, conduct data analysis, identify trade-offs, risk mitigations, and proposals of alternatives to meet the business needs.
  • Provide payments consulting support to Disney lines of businesses by applying payments domain knowledge (eg: acquirers, gateways, payment methods, card networks, network tokens, debit networks and more).
  • Support and develop clear presentation materials for varying stakeholders and leadership to support business cases and recommendations.
  • Manage small projects independently with accountability to follow through. Pull and query data from internal systems and provide quantitative analysis as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external payment providers in a matrixed environment.
  • Use AI tools to streamline project management touchpoints and improve workflows.

Required Experience

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in payments, fintech, treasury, or bank with operations and/or project management background.
  • Prior experience in a payment-related role is desired.
  • Detailed oriented with superb project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with ability to articulate succinctly and interact across all levels and departments.
  • Solid quantitative skills to conduct queries and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
  • An inherent interest and curiosity to acquire payments knowledge.
  • Have a positive mindset and adaptability.
  • Consulting background a plus

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $115,300.00 to $140,900.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
