Job description

Join the engineering team at the magical Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista. Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is an Official Walt Disney World Hotel offering 814 deluxe rooms and suites, many with views of Disney Springs, we have six on-site dining options, two heated pools, and a 24-hour arcade in the heart of Orlando's entertainment district.
Ideal candidates have a minimum of 1 year of hotel maintenance/engineering experience, are strong communicators, good knowledge in maintenance and certifications in plumbing, electrical or A/C are highly preferred
Shift Pattern: Full time, Open availability required. Mainly between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm (Holidays and weekends are required) but need to have flexibility to fill in on 2nd shift as well

What will I be doing?
  • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to resolve complaints, perform electrical repairs or fulfill guest requests
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and test all electrical systems, sub-systems and equipment to include, but not limited to, disassembly, replacement, cleaning and repair
  • Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance on all electrical equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams, schematics, operations manuals and manufacturers maintenance instructions
  • Monitor and maintain light fixtures to ensure functionality
  • Assemble and disassemble power and lighting equipment for exhibits, meetings and banquets
