POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you a naturally friendly person with a helpful personality? Clay Brook, a four-star luxury slope side residency at the heart of Sugarbush Resort's Lincoln Peak Village, is searching for a Front Desk Agent with a strong eye for guest service. This is a full-time year-round 5- day/week opportunity with shifts in the morning and evenings! Morning shifts are from 7am to 3pm and evening shifts are from 3pm to 11pm with other varying hours as needed. This position pays $20 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience at a hotel/front desk is preferred, but we are also prepared to train the right candidate.
  • A professional personality is essential to this important service role.
  • Front Desk Agents must be able to maintain a friendly, responsive, helpful, and knowledgeable attitude while juggling many demands and sometimes difficult guests.
  • Availability for a flexible workweek (including holidays and weekends) is necessary for the position.
  • General computer knowledge and experience with cashier/customer service is preferred while previous use of SMS or other reservations systems is a plus.
  • Timely and reliable attendance is absolutely essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Duties include: greeting owners/guests, answering phones, checking owners/guests in/out, providing information about the resort and the Mad River Valley, processing charges in selling resort products/services, responding to owner/guest needs, balancing owner/guest accounts, and working with the resort's information systems and different departments.
  • As a primary point of guest service contact, tasks will be performed in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Agents ensure positive, accurate, prompt, and courteous service while putting the guest's interests first.
  • Agents are delegated with responsibilities from their MOD in addition to tasks that need to be completed throughout the shift/day which are completed and logged via a shift checklist.
