This position supports the digital and social products relative to Marketing and Communications department, Demand Marketing. This role will assist in guiding overarching deliverables, development, communication, and execution for PGA TOUR Events, as well as serving as the lead for social strategist for PGA TOUR events.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Journalism, Media, or Communications preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years' experience leading social and digital communications and dynamic content creation required.

  • Experience managing a professional social media account with an understanding of how brands should participate in an authentic manner.

  • Social advertising experience, sponsored content development. Understanding of the Facebook Business tool is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of the current social landscape, including creating content for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and emerging platforms

  • Ability to analyze and utilize data to customize social strategy.

  • Experience within the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).

  • Proficient in design, photo, and video editing.

  • Experience with managing websites and content management software.

  • Background in golf preferred; interest in golf required.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Curate and develop content for select PGA TOUR events that engages fans and encourages attendance.

  • Liaise with PGA TOUR Events stakeholders to deliver against promotional needs and goals within partner contracts.

  • Assist with coordination of social media advertising for PGA TOUR Events to drive revenue.

  • Use digital channels to assist event public relations and earned media efforts.

  • Collaborate with Creative Studio to develop digital creative that aligns with the overall PGA TOUR Brand and product brand

  • Collaborate with other departments within Marketing & Communications to align with top-line follower growth, brand and revenue goals. Tasks include, but are not limited to, coordination with PGA TOUR Content strategy and execution, PGA TOUR Communications support, and other tasks.

  • Work with the PGA TOUR Digital products team to maintain and elevate digital channels and user experience

  • Work collaboratively with Demand Marketing team to pursue new tasks and challenges related to overall departmental goals and objectives

  • Special projects or other duties as assigned.

  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. (After Effects knowledge is a plus)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
