Job description

DISC Surgery Center stands as the epitome of excellence in spine care, orthopedics, interventional pain management, and sports medicine. Our cutting-edge facilities, strategically located across Southern California and Florida, represent the pinnacle of innovation in minimally invasive surgical solutions.


DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU RN for our Carlsbad, CA location. This position will have a Monday - Friday schedule.


In this position, you will:

  • Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels
  • Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families

Qualifications


  • Valid RN license
  • BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
  • 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU

Pay Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hour
