Acture Solutions is seeking a Systems Support Engineer to join our Centralized Services team in Hauppauge, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional who enjoys solving technical issues, supporting enterprise Microsoft environments, and working alongside a highly skilled engineering team. In this role, you'll provide Tier II infrastructure and systems support for a diverse client base while participating in infrastructure projects, cloud migrations, technology refreshes, and client onboarding initiatives. You'll collaborate with senior engineers to deliver exceptional customer service and reliable technology solutions that help organizations succeed.

What You'll Do

• Provide Tier II support for servers, workstations, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Troubleshoot escalated hardware, software, connectivity, authentication, printing, and performance issues.
• Administer Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and user management.
• Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user provisioning.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and backup solutions.
• Monitor client environments using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools and proactively resolve issues.
• Support backup and disaster recovery platforms, validate backups, and assist with recovery efforts.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, hardware refreshes, and client onboarding projects.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to implement security best practices including MFA, endpoint protection, patch management, and access controls.
• Mentor Level I technicians and assist with knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Participate in scheduled after-hours maintenance and occasional emergency support.

What You Bring

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, systems administration, or Managed Services environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
• Experience supporting networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, and wireless networking.
• Experience supporting VMware or Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Familiarity with Datto RMM, Autotask PSA, ConnectWise, or similar MSP platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced client support environment.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to client sites as needed.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred. Will accept equivalent hands-on networking experience in place of the CCNA

Required Certifications

• Required to attain Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) within 3 months of employment.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent technical certifications
