THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Position Description Number T6377000 and is part of the 106TH RQW, National Guard.
This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.

As a UNIT PROGRAM COORDINATOR (GS-0303-07), you are subordinate to and assists the lead CSS in managing daily administrative and unit-level support, executes assigned programs in line with the Personnel Services Delivery Guide (PSDG), and supports training of personnel to maintain mission readiness and compliance with Air Force policies.

  • For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.

  • May be required to travel by car, in military and/or commercial aircraft, and by other means of transportation as appropriate to perform temporary duty assignments.

  • For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience, education, or training which indicates the candidate performed progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade. Must have experience supporting the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, awards, and leave. Serving as a point of contact for unit personnel and leadership regarding personnel management and administrative support. Experience assisting commanders, supervisors, and employees in understanding personnel policies and procedures. Experience assisting higher graded specialists in areas critical to unit operations, ensuring adherence to Air Force policies. Experience serving as a point of contact for unit personnel and leadership regarding personnel management and administrative support; supporting the administration of military personnel management programs including requesting personnel actions such as promotions, evaluations, awards, and leave; monitoring personnel records and supports preparation of routine personnel actions with guidance from higher graded HR Specialist; assisting with maintaining personnel files and electronic records in accordance with Air Force, Air National Guard, and local directives.
