Job description

Job Title

ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Review work order or may receive verbal instructions to determine ink, stock and equipment needed for production.
  • Assist press operator with press set up including hanging of plates and blankets on press cylinders using hand tools.
  • Keep press supplied with paper stock of top quality.
  • Pour ink into reservoirs of printing unit and maintains ink agitator.
  • Remove loaded pallet of printed material from stacking mechanism using pallet jack and replace with empty pallet.
  • Periodically may need to help with preventative maintenance duties.
  • Pay close attention to small detail throughout the process.
  • Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned
