The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity as a Registered Nurse at the Montana Mental Health and Nursing Care Center. The*Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center (MMHNCC)in Lewistown is a licensed residential facility for the long-term care and treatment of persons who have mental disorders and who require a level of care not available in the community. TheRegistered Nurse (RN)*performs professional nursing duties to promote and maintain physical health for resident’s mental health nursing care facility. Responsibilities include: 1) Assesses, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for residents following accepted nursing standard practices; 2) Writes comprehensive care plans for each resident that include problems, interventions, and measurable goals; and 3) Serves as the Charge nurse to coordinate facility activities and provide overall management of facility in absence of supervisor.
