As an LCSW at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will engage in the following responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for patients experiencing various mental health challenges, particularly in a hospice setting.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Providing psychotherapy services to patients and their families, helping them navigate emotional challenges and fostering resilience.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and other mental health providers, to ensure consistent and holistic care.
• Participating in case consultations and regular meetings with peers to review treatment efficacy and share best practices.
• Delivering education on mental health concerns to patients and families, along with guiding them to appropriate community resources.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in mental health research to integrate new methodologies into your practice.

Your role will primarily focus on providing care to patients who are dealing with terminal illnesses and their families, aiming to improve the quality of life in their remaining time. You will utilize a compassionate, person-centered approach to support both patients and their loved ones through difficult conversations and emotional experiences, helping them cope with grief, loss, and transition.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work obtained from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a clinical setting, preferably in hospice or palliative care.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions geared towards end-of-life and mental health support.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and families.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on critical thinking.
• A collaborative mindset conducive to working with diverse teams.

• Experience specifically in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with interdisciplinary team dynamics within healthcare environments.
• Additional certifications related to grief counseling or trauma-informed care.
