What are disability claims?

Disability claims are formal requests made by individuals to receive financial assistance or benefits due to a medical condition or injury that prevents them from working. These claims can be made through government programs like Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or through private insurance policies. The process typically involves submitting medical evidence and documentation to prove the extent and duration of the disability. Approval of a claim depends on meeting specific criteria set by the agency or insurer.
