WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE FOR THIS ROLE: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field, can be within four (4) months/one semester of obtaining degree; up to three (3) years of experience. Interest in working with justice-involved and disenfranchised populations is highly desired. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated abilities in written reports/business correspondence are required. Effective oral communication skills to include demonstrated ability of public speaking or presentations to groups. Proficient with MS Office software. RESPONSIBILITIES: The RJ Case Manager Lead maintains a caseload of cases consistent with projects, restorative justice, case management processes, and contact schedules in the catchment area. 1 Compile, input, and track case management and restorative justice processes in the online case management system. Will have up to 25 cases. 2 Work with the Program Manager and director to develop processes for case managers to use. 3 Facilitate restorative justice practices for assigned cases consistent with department and project requirements. Will support and train staff in restorative justice processes and case management. 4 Complete appropriate assessments for referred individuals and families. 5 Develop and monitor case plans with assigned individuals and families consistent with department and project requirements. 6 Complete and maintain accurate documentation for case management and restorative justice practices in the online case management system. Will train other case managers on myEvolv and other case management systems and restorative justice practices. 7 Complete all required reports and documentation consistent with program standards and funding requirements. Case Manager Lead will work with the program manager and director on developing case management/restorative justice processes. 8 Represent VOA and VOA Justice in the community. 9 Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations to maintain current and cultivate new partnerships. 10 Seek and engage in personal and professional development opportunities. 11 Facilitate project-based staff meetings. 12 Hold supervision meetings with those you supervise. 13 Ensure cases are assigned to the appropriate case manager. 14 Being direct contact for referral sources. 15 Ensure new staff have completed training requirements as outlined in the onboarding checklist. 16 Ensure all staff comply with project metrics. 17 Responsible for grant compliance and quarterly reporting. 18 Work with Organizational Development to provide professional development tracks for project employees. 19 Assist with other duties as assigned. 20 Assist and support all VOA Restorative Justice project sites by working with the Program Manager and Director on new and existing projects, including case management, staff support, training, and travel.
