Position Overview:

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Felton, DE. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support preschool-aged students with disabilities in a collaborative educational environment, fostering academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday
8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
37.5 hours per week
August 2026 – May 27, 2027

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized instruction for preschool-aged students with disabilities
Create, maintain, and support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide specialized instruction to students with Autism, Developmental Delays, and other exceptional needs
Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
Collaborate with families, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
Active Early Childhood/Preschool Special Education Certification required (Birth–2nd Grade)
Previous experience working with preschool students (ages 2–5) required
Experience supporting students with disabilities, including Autism and Developmental Delays
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
