ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Deliver yarn to different departments. Unload yarn trailers from outside vendors/warehouse. Familiar with Bentley inventory system and transaction codes in the AS400 system. Perform customer service and collaborate with other departments. Pack yarn that is coming out of the department to return to stock. Load creels for the machine. Cycle counts of yarn inventory. Sample order for custom samples. Do poms for the planning dept.
EXPERIENCE OR REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum one year of working with carpet.
  • Basic communication skills to read, understand and discuss (in English) numerical and alphabetical lot numbers and other product, production or maintenance information.
  • Previous computer experience needed.
  • Experience driving a forklift required.
  • Must have forklift certification or pass certification test prior to accepting job.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Frequent: Climb, depth perception, handle, hear, kneel, manual dexterity, reach, sit, stand, stoop and walk. Use personal protective equipment.
Occasional: Balance, crawl, crouch, grasp, kneel, speak, lift 45lbs.
Required: Close vision, color, and texture.
