Director, People Services

Expert in their discipline (HR or commensurate experience inclusive of operations experience). Accountable for shaping the direction and leading the human capital strategy across your functional area. Responsible for providing executive-level HR support, coaching leaders (manager through executive levels), and empowering teams to partner cross-functionally to solve complex challenges. You will work closely with senior operations leaders to drive strategic HR solutions and initiatives that align with broader business objectives, taking complete responsibility for work, including all planning, execution, and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess deep strategic thinking capabilities, an ability to balance team empowerment with accountability, excellent communication and operational experience, and a proven track record of driving large-scale multi-site organizational performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advises on execution of full talent system, inclusive of creating local compensation strategy to support pay for performance

Serves as a trusted advisor/coach to senior leaders and executives, providing strategic guidance on HR initiatives to support business objectives.

Collaborates with operational leaders to identify and address leadership development needs, ensuring succession plans for critical roles are robust and forward-looking.

Actively serves as a leader on the team to attract, identify, develop, and retain high potential talent

Identifies high-potential teammates and empowers the team to create development plans that prepare them for future executive leadership roles

Monitors and tracks the progress of key talent actions, making data-driven adjustments to accelerate readiness.

Strategic Thinking

Consistently scans the macro talent and HR environment, bringing trends and the latest perspectives to progress the business's strategic thinking.

Demonstrates a strong ability to see big-picture drivers, identify gaps, and translate strategy into action.

Conducts advanced HR data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, and develops comprehensive action plans.

We are looking for a candidate that has demonstrated success in the following areas:

Previous experience shaping and leading multi-site Human Capital Strategy.

Extensive experience coaching senior leaders (Directors and above, up to executives).

Experience identifying and driving Key Performance Indicators with end-to-end ownership.

Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree highly preferred.

Available for moderate travel (25%-50% overnight).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required):

Bachelor's degree required.

Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Must live in South East US geography (Florida or Georgia preferred) or be willing to relocate

Current driver's license in state of residence and insurable driving record required.

Minimum of 7-10 years' hands-on human resources experience, functioning as a strategic human resource business partner.

Minimum of 5 years' experience as a human resources manager or director strongly preferred; experience in a large (1000+) company preferred.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook required.
