Job description

CA Certification for Activity Director is required or candidate must be a qualified therapeutic recreation specialist.  

The primary purpose of your job as Activity Director is in planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors.  This is a Skilled Nursing Facility and the program must meet the needs of each resident.  

Accurate documentation is required, as well as, interaction with our clinical team, residents, their families and volunteers.  

Good written and verbal communication, working well with a team, willingness to work with difficult residents and/or families, creativity and an energetic personality are all traits that we are looking for.
