Job Title: Director, D2C Digital Marketing & Analytics (hybrid onsite Monday- Thursday)

Location: US-GA-Atlanta (Sandy Springs)

FLSA: Exempt

#LI-Hybrid

Job Overview:

We are looking for a forward-thinking, AI-driven Director of Digital Marketing & Analytics to lead our Direct-to-Consumer marketing and data functions. This is a strategic leadership role for a modern digital leader who understands that marketing and data are inseparable — and who knows how to architect AI-enabled workflows that drive performance from lead acquisition through to insights delivery.

Reporting to the Senior Director of D2C, you will lead an integrated team spanning campaign management, web content, and data analytics, setting the vision and operational framework for how the D2C team uses data, technology, and AI to compete and win. You will own the full lead-to-output pipeline — from how we acquire and engage customers, to how we measure, report, and continuously improve performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop an integrated team of marketing campaign managers and data analysts, fostering a high-performance, AI-native culture.
  • Define and execute the D2C digital marketing and analytics strategy, aligned to business goals across revenue, conversion, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Serve as the internal authority on digital marketing best practices, emerging AI tools, and data-driven decision-making — coaching the team and modeling the behaviors that drive results.
  • Partner with the Senior Director of D2C and cross-functional leaders (engineering, product, sales, UX, payments, delivery) to align strategy with execution.
  • Lead the team's adoption of AI tools and methodologies across content creation, campaign optimization, analytics, and reporting — driving meaningful efficiency and output improvements.
  • Architect AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort and elevate the quality of marketing execution and data insights across the D2C function.
  • Apply machine learning, predictive modeling, and AI-driven analytics to optimize campaign performance, customer segmentation, and lead acquisition strategy.
  • Stay ahead of developments in AI, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), and SEO — translating emerging trends into competitive advantage for the D2C channel.
  • Own the end-to-end digital marketing strategy: brand campaigns, email marketing, web content, SEO/GEO/AEO, and paid digital — ensuring consistency and performance across all channels.
  • Lead campaign planning and execution, with oversight of brand ownership from website through email, ensuring a cohesive customer journey.
  • Own the D2C website strategy in partnership with the web implementation and content team, ensuring content is accurate, optimized, and aligned to campaign goals.
  • Oversee the lead acquisition pipeline — from digital touchpoints and CRM integration through HubSpot — ensuring data flows correctly and marketing efforts are measurable end-to-end.
  • Own the analytics function: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, SEMrush, and BI reporting (Power BI, Tableau) — ensuring data integrity and actionable insight delivery.
  • Oversee the production of monthly and quarterly client-facing performance review decks, ensuring the team can clearly explain performance drivers and trends.
  • Define and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that give leadership clear visibility into D2C performance across revenue, conversion, and channel metrics.
  • Leverage data from across the business technology ecosystem — CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (HubSpot), and web analytics — to connect insights across systems and deliver comprehensive cross-functional reporting.
  • Ensure data quality, pipeline reliability, and alignment between raw data sources and reporting layers in partnership with engineering and BI teams.

The above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, or a combined marketing and data leadership role, with demonstrated business impact.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams spanning marketing and analytics functions.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing — including email, SEO/GEO/AEO, content strategy, and campaign management — with a strong grasp of how each discipline interconnects.
  • Strong hands-on experience with web analytics and marketing platforms: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, SEMrush, HubSpot, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Proficiency in SQL with the ability to independently write and modify queries to extract, transform, and analyze data for reporting purposes — including joins, aggregations, filters, and basic CTEs.
  • Demonstrated track record of leveraging AI-powered tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) to materially improve team efficiency, automate workflows, and elevate insight generation and marketing output.
  • Experience with lead acquisition strategy and CRM integration, with the ability to connect marketing execution to measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives for executive and client audiences.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing across functions and levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience applying machine learning, predictive modeling, or advanced analytics to marketing or business intelligence use cases.
  • Familiarity with the automotive, insurance, or vehicle protection industry — or demonstrated ability to quickly ramp on industry-specific metrics and client expectations.
  • Experience in a D2C, e-commerce, or high-growth digital environment.
  • Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization.
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.

Company Benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Flexible Spending Account
  • Health Savings Account
  • 401(k) Plan with Company Match
  • Company-paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
  • Company-paid Life Insurance
  • Paid Holidays and Vacation
  • Employee Referral Program
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Wellness Programs
  • Paid Community Service Opportunities
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Ongoing Training & Personal Development
  • And More!
