  • Ensures Epic and related systems are configured and governed to meet the operational, regulatory, and clinical needs of both organizations.
  • Directs and coordinates professional services including systems analysis and design, feasibility studies, system integrations, and application development.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and recommends new technologies, platforms, and services that improve efficiency, scalability, security, and clinical or operational outcomes across both organizations.
  • Oversees shared IT domains, including:
    • Data center, network, and cloud infrastructure
    • Endpoint support for clinical and corporate teams
    • Application, network, cloud, data security, and regulatory compliance
    • Enterprise systems supporting HR, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Clinical teams
  • Owns the commissioning, IT readiness, and ongoing support of new FastMed and Alo/Avance Care locations as applicable.
  • Approves and manages the acquisition of hardware, software, licenses, and IT services required to support joint operations.
  • Develops, manages, and executes the IT budget for the shared IT organization, ensuring transparency and fiscal responsibility across both partners.
  • Monitors and reports on IT performance, project delivery, system availability, cybersecurity posture, and resource utilization to executive leadership.
  • Ensures the integrity, reliability, and security of all shared information systems, including protection of patient data and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • Establishes strong IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks across the joint environment.
  • Maintains awareness of emerging technologies, healthcare IT trends, and regulatory changes to proactively evolve the IT ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 10 years or more of comprehensive experience in information technology, with a significant portion of this experience in a leadership role within healthcare organizations.
  • Extensive experience leading all areas of the information technology function including business systems and processes, infrastructure design and engineering (including data center, network, and end-user devices), managed service provider agreements, EMR, billing and back-office systems, data infrastructure and reporting engines help desk and support, communications systems, and cyber risk mitigation.
