Job description

Everforth ECS is seeking a Infrastructure Management-VMWare Lead - Senior to work in Fairfax, Virginia. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational management of VMware virtualization environments to support enterprise hosting services.
  • Oversee configurations of hypervisors and manage resource allocation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement high-availability clustering and integrate storage solutions to enhance system resilience.
  • Direct disaster recovery planning and readiness to maintain service continuity.
  • Supervise and mentor virtualization technicians, ensuring compliance with established configurations.
  • Conduct performance optimization and capacity planning to meet enterprise hosting requirements.
  • Collaborate with hosting, network, and cybersecurity teams to maintain secure virtualization platforms.
  • Ensure alignment with DoD cybersecurity standards and configuration management protocols.

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 451-System Administrator at the Advanced proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): SecurityX / CASP+, CCNP Security, CCSP, FITSP-O, GFACT
  • Education: Masters or Ph.D in [Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering]
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in enterprise virtualization and hosting within DoD or Federal networks.
  • Proven experience in administering VMware platforms, focusing on hypervisor configuration and resource management.
  • Demonstrated capability in supervising technical teams and ensuring compliance with DoD standards.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and compliant virtualization services.
