Job description

Job Title: Vice President of Development at Wallace Ventures
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President of Development to
join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven
track record in real estate development, and expertise in project underwriting. This
individual will play a critical role in identifying, evaluating, and executing new
projects, while also managing relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of
construction is a plus!
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development team in identifying new project opportunities and
conducting feasibility studies.
• Oversee project underwriting efforts, including financial analysis, market
research, and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure projects are
delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize financial
performance and mitigate risks.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, lenders, government
agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate project financing and approvals.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and other
stakeholders on project status, financial performance, and potential risks or
opportunities.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related
field.
• Ten years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on project
underwriting and front-end development.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and feasibility
analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex development projects
from inception to completion.
• Knowledge of local zoning regulations, permitting processes, and other
relevant regulations and guidelines.
