Vector Medical is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at our state-of-the-art surgical center located in Waukegan, Illinois. Work Environment

Our Waukegan surgical center offers an onsite, dynamic work environment where collaboration and professional development are central to everyday operations. You will work a 40-hour week with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to engage fully in patient care without the pressures of after-hours work. This clinic-based practice is dedicated exclusively to women’s health, ensuring a focused approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a designated patient panel, addressing their medical needs and providing continuity of care.
  • Respond to physician overflow, augmenting support where necessary, all while being backed by full Medical Doctor support.
  • Engage in a variety of procedures within your scope, including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, women’s wellness assessments, and colposcopies if trained.
  • Utilize your skills in a completely clinic-based practice, maximizing your ability to impact patient health outcomes directly.
  • Participate in proactive discussions and decisions regarding patient care in collaboration with your peers and attending physicians, enhancing teamwork and patient satisfaction.
  • Take part in the APC council, a group dedicated to supporting and mentoring advanced practice clinicians.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at Vector Medical, you will serve a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on women's health. This includes prenatal care, reproductive health, and overall wellness. Qualifications
  • Current Physician Assistant Certification is required.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
