This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000, based on experience. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art hospital facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is renowned for its commitment to quality care and advanced medical practices. The work setting is a dynamic, collaborative clinic environment where you will be able to interact directly with patients from diverse backgrounds, enhancing your clinical skills and patient care practices. The typical work schedule consists of a five-day work week, totaling 40 hours, without any call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant at Vector Medical, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Managing your own patient panel while also addressing overflow cases from supervising physicians.
• Providing comprehensive care with full support from supervising Medical Doctors, ensuring high-quality treatment for all patients.
• Conducting clinic-based practices that encompass a wide range of procedures, such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon implants, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, women’s wellness checks, and colposcopies, contingent upon your level of training.
• Participating in an Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) council focused on promoting collaborative care and professional development.
• Engaging in opportunities for leadership training and career advancement to enhance your professional trajectory.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at our Scottsdale facility primarily consists of women seeking comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology care. Our focus is on delivering evidence-based, individualized healthcare aimed at improving the overall well-being of each patient. You will play a critical role in listening to and addressing patient concerns, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and high-quality care they deserve.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Current Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted State Medical License in Arizona.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is required, including compliance with state regulations regarding booster doses.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is required, with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in obstetrics and gynecology, demonstrating a solid understanding of women's health issues.
• Experience or training in navigating the EPIC EMR system, facilitating efficient patient record management.
• Essential skills include active listening, critical thinking, effective communication, time management, judgment, and decision-making.

Preferred Experience

While candidates with one year of experience will be considered, those with a robust clinical background in obstetrics and gynecology will excel in this role. Additional training or hands-on experience with specific procedures mentioned will provide a significant advantage in meeting the needs of our patient population.
