Job Description Summary:

The Director, SAP Transport Management & WorkloadAutomationis accountable for theenterpriseSAP release management strategy, transport governance, and global workload automation operations across The Coca-Cola Company's SAP landscape. The role owns the governance, planning, execution, and continuous improvement of SAP releases, transport controls, deployment processes, and batch job scheduling capabilities, balancing delivery speed with platform stability, compliance, and business continuity.

This leaderis responsible forgoverning how enhancements, projects, defect fixes, and operational changes move through development, test, and production environments while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, segregation of duties, audit requirements, and change management controls. The role provides leadership across release planning, production cutovers, transport management, and workload automation services while partnering closely with SAP Platform, Basis, Infrastructure, Security, Product, Delivery, and Business stakeholders.

The position also serves as the technology and process owner for SAP transport management and workload automation platforms, including tools such as Rev-Trac Release Management Workbench (RMW) andRunMyJobsby Redwood Software, while evaluating emerging technologies and automation opportunities that improve operational efficiency and governance.

What You'll Do for Us

SAP Release Strategy, Governance & Communication

  • Define and own the enterprise SAP release strategy, release calendar, governance framework, and approval processes across all SAP landscapes.

  • Establishreleasegovernance policies and control mechanisms that protect platform integrity while enablingtimelydelivery of business value.

  • Build and communicatemonthly and yearlyrelease schedules, readiness updates, production freeze windows, regression testing plans, and cutover activities to technology and business stakeholders.

  • Lead production cutover planning, go/no-go decision support, deployment coordination, and post-deployment validation activities.

  • Partner with Product, Project, Agile Delivery, and Business teams to align release schedules with strategic priorities and business-critical events.

SAP Transport & Change Management

  • Own enterprise SAP transport management processes across Development, QA, Pre-Production, and Production environments

  • Govern SAP transport controls, approvals, sequencing, retrofit requirements, dependency management, conflict resolution, and deployment readiness reviews.

  • Administer and continuously improve transport management platforms, including Rev-Trac Release Management Workbench (RMW) or successor technologies.

  • Ensure transport processesmaintainsystem integrity, segregation of duties (SoD), audit compliance, and adherence to organizational governance standards.

  • Coordinate emergency changes, risk mitigation activities, and release exception management whilemaintainingcomplete transport traceability and audit-ready documentation.

  • Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) engagement and ensure alignment with ITIL Change Management practices.

  • Coordinate enterprise regression testing activities and support continued advancement of automated testing capabilities.

Global Workload Automation & Job Scheduling

  • Own enterprise workload automation strategy, governance, and operational performance across SAP and connected business platforms.

  • Lead the administration and evolution ofRunMyJobsby Redwood Software (or equivalent workload automation platforms).

  • Define scheduling standards, job dependencies, monitoring practices, and operational controls across the global SAP landscape.

  • Optimizebatch windows, job sequencing, automation capabilities, and scheduling architecture to minimize business disruption and improve reliability.

  • Partner with SAP Basis, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to align workload automation with maintenance activities, upgrades, releases, and platform roadmaps.

  • Drive incident and problem management processes for workload automation services, including root cause analysis and preventive improvement actions.

Leadership, Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement

  • Serve as the primary enterprise point of contact for SAP release management, transport governance, and workload automation services.

  • Lead and develop Release Services and Scheduling capabilities through a combination of direct, matrixed, and partner resources.

  • Build strong partnerships across SAP Platform teams, Digital Product organizations, Global Delivery teams, Bottling Partners, and Business stakeholders.

  • Champion Agile, DevOps, automation, and continuous improvement practices across release and deployment processes

  • Evaluate emerging release management, transport governance, and workload automation technologies while recommending process and tooling improvements.

  • Support internal and external audits by ensuring complete release, transport, scheduling, andapprovaldocumentationremainscurrent and compliant.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, ora relateddiscipline.

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Release Management, SAP Transport Management, Change Management, Workload Automation, or related enterprise platform operations.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP transport and release management solutions such as Rev-Trac or equivalent platforms.

  • Hands-on experience with enterprise workload automation platforms such asRunMyJobs(Redwood) or equivalent solutions.

  • Strong understanding of SAP transport architecture, SAP Basis concepts, change control processes, and landscape management.

  • Experience managing releases across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, MDG, and related SAP platforms.

  • Experience coordinating large-scale production deployments, cutovers, regression testing, and risk mitigation activities.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • Strong understanding of ITIL Change Management and governance processes.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • ITIL Foundation Certification.

  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and release automation practices.
