Description
Apple has an extraordinary opportunity for an Engineering Program Manager (EPM) within the Hardware Technologies team to drive power, performance, and thermal feature convergence across HW and SW, to optimize customer experience for the best power efficiency and performance within each product limit. This position works at the intersection of SoCs and products. In this role, you will lead investigations for the most sophisticated and multi-functional silicon and system debugs. This activity culminates into executive-level reviews of power, performance and thermal designs, driving convergence across product, SW and HW teams. This role covers silicon readiness and post-silicon phase of the product life cycle - including silicon bring-up preparation, HW/SW control feature integration, validation, and product mass-production support for Apple's next generation products.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Engineering discipline + 10 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in SoC design, silicon, and system debug or validation with exposure to system/SW integration.
Technical Program Management or Engineering Leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to develop in-depth understanding of technical issues quickly and optimally triage and drive HW/SW/System integration issue resolution across multi-functional teams.
Ability to optimally lead and communicate at executive-level crossfunctional technical reviews and discussions.
Proficient in core engineering program management principles.
