Overview
We are hiring for a Senior Director, HR Tech and Transfer, who will lead Carenet's enterprise HR technology, data, analytics, and process transformation strategy. This role will own the multi-year HR technology roadmap, lead the implementation and optimization of our enterprise HCM platform, and oversee the broader HR technology ecosystem.
If you thrive in leading enterprise-wide ransformation, optimizing HR technology, and turning data and technology into meaningful business outcomes, we'd love to hear from you!
This is an onsite role in San Antonio, Texas.
Responsibilities
Our Senior Director, HR Tech & Transfer partners across People Services, Finance, Payroll, Information Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and business leadership to build an integrated, scalable, and employee-centered digital HR environment. The role translates business priorities into technology and data capabilities that establish enterprise standards, strengthen data integrity, improve decision support, enable automation and responsible AI, and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, service delivery, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute the multi-year HR technology roadmap aligned to enterprise strategy, workforce priorities, operating model needs, and the People Services agenda.
  • Lead implementation, governance, adoption, release management, optimization, and value realization for the enterprise HCM platform, payroll integrations and broader HR technology ecosystem.
  • Define the target-state HR systems architecture, integration strategy, security model, documentation standards, change controls, and audit-ready governance practices.
  • Establish enterprise HR data strategy and governance, including authoritative sources, definitions, ownership, quality standards, privacy, security, data stewardship, and ethical use of workforce information.
  • Build executive and operational HR scorecards, governed reporting catalogs, scalable data products, and workforce analytics that support strategic, financial, and operational decisions.
  • Lead end-to-end process mapping, standardization, documentation, service measures, control points, and continuous-improvement routines across People Services.
  • Identify and implement workflow automation, digital self-service, intelligent case routing, and responsible AI opportunities that improve employee experience and increase service delivery efficiency.
  • Manage HR technology vendors, implementation partners, managed-service relationships, licensing, statements of work, renewals, budgets, business cases, and total cost of ownership.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team across HR systems, people analytics, data governance, process improvement, and program delivery while strengthening product ownership, analytics fluency, change leadership, and service management practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, business, analytics, technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Ten or more years of progressive experience in HR technology, HR transformation, HCM product leadership, people analytics, enterprise systems, or a related discipline, including significant leadership responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success leading a large-scale enterprise HCM implementation and post-implementation optimization; direct Workday implementation or product ownership experience preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of HR technology strategy, HCM architecture, data governance, integrations, security, reporting, analytics, process design, vendor management, and program governance.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional, multi-geography transformation initiatives with senior executive visibility.
  • Ability to translate business strategy into practical roadmaps, operating models, investment priorities, architecture decisions, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong financial, commercial, and vendor-management acumen, including business-case development, contract governance, and budget accountability.
  • Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, influence, change leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in business, human resources, information systems, analytics, or a related discipline; Workday certification or substantial hands-on leadership across multiple Workday functional areas; and experience in global, multi-entity, regulated, healthcare services, business-process outsourcing, or high-volume workforce environments.
  • Additional preferred experience includes people analytics platforms, experience with payroll integration, enterprise data models, AI governance, robotic process automation, workflow orchestration, change-management frameworks, and relevant certifications such as PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, SHRM, HRCI, data governance, or enterprise architecture credentials.
