Tax Attorney – Estate & Succession Planning
Atlanta, GA | Up to $150,000 Base Salary + Bonus | Relocation Available

New Gig Solutions is partnering with a highly respected law firm seeking a Tax Attorney with experience in estate, gift, and succession planning for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. What You'll Do

  • Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on complex estate, gift, GST, and income tax planning strategies
  • Design and implement customized wealth transfer and asset protection structures
  • Develop business succession plans for closely held and family-owned businesses
  • Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents and related agreements
  • Work closely with CPAs, financial advisors, and family offices
  • Advise clients on multi-generational wealth transfer strategies
  • Stay ahead of tax law changes and proactively identify planning opportunities

What We're Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar license in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, or succession planning
  • Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and business owners
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and client communication skills
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required

Technical Experience (Highly Valued)

  • GRATs
  • IDGTs and sales to grantor trusts
  • SLATs
  • Dynasty trusts
  • Family LLCs and FLPs
  • Valuation discount planning
  • Business succession structuring
