Job Title: Product Manager (Subscription / Growth) Location: 100% Remote Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 6 month contract (40 hours/week PST) Compensation Range: $70-75/hr W2 Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship .

Job Description: Lead consumer subscription growth initiatives focused on discovery, education, acquisition, conversion, activation, and long-term member value across digital experiences.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Drive product strategy and roadmap for consumer subscription acquisition and growth.
  • Define how subscriptions are introduced across web, app, account, member, and lifecycle experiences.
  • Develop clear consumer-facing subscription value propositions.
  • Optimize the end-to-end growth funnel from qualified exposure through checkout, activation, and retention handoff.
  • Establish goals, KPIs, reporting, and growth models tied to conversion, activation, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Partner with Analytics to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, prioritize experiments, and apply learnings to the roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Design and Research to create intuitive, accessible, consumer-friendly experiences.
  • Partner with Engineering on merchandising, targeting, experimentation, measurement, and subscription capabilities.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, CRM, Content, SEO, and business teams to create cohesive acquisition journeys.
  • Use quantitative data, qualitative research, and competitive insights to identify customer needs and funnel friction.
  • Navigate tradeoffs across consumer value, business performance, technical complexity, privacy, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Clearly communicate strategy, decisions, results, and learnings to cross-functional partners and senior leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of Product Management experience
  • Recent experience owning consumer-facing subscription products; B2B-only backgrounds will not qualify.
  • Direct, recent experience with subscription acquisition, conversion, pricing, paywalls, onboarding, lifecycle engagement, and/or retention.
  • Strong understanding of consumer growth funnels and metrics including traffic, engagement, conversion, activation, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Demonstrated experience using experimentation and data to improve product and business outcomes.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous opportunities into clear customer problems, hypotheses, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong consumer empathy and experience creating simple, compelling product experiences.
  • Technical fluency to partner with Engineering and Analytics on instrumentation, experimentation, personalization, and scalable capabilities.
  • Clear, structured, and precise communication with strong strategic thinking.
  • High energy, ownership, and demonstrated ability to drive initiatives through obstacles and ambiguity.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, and leadership.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and constraints.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with healthcare, wellness, digital health, or another regulated consumer product.
  • Experience with condition-based or care-related subscription products.
  • Previous experience within a large-scale consumer technology organization.
