CDL A Truck Driver Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL A)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to meet FMCSA interstate commerce requirements
  • At least 12 months of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) experience in the previous 36 months or at least 6 months in the last 12-month period
  • Currently eligible to operate a commercial motor vehicle under DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policy
  • To remain eligible for company insurance coverage, operators must demonstrate a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR), defined as having three (3) or fewer moving violations in the most recent three-year window
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen (per 49 CFR Part 40) and have a clear status in the FMCSA Clearinghouse
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, motor vehicle record review, and compliance with DOT regulations, where applicable
