Job description

Hiring near our Irving, TX and Stamford, CT Centers of Excellence with a flexible environment.
About the Role:
Reporting to the head of HR Technology in Gartner's HR organization, this role will ensure our most important technology initiatives are organized, focused and deliver value for Gartner.
Specifically, this role will lead in the following ways:
  • Cultivate strong stakeholder partnerships to prioritize initiatives and deliver complex programs tied to HR technology

  • Lead a team of program managers who effectively plan, organize and execute transformative work. Develop talent who is endlessly curious, applying business and functional acumen to help solve unstructured problems

  • Support crafting effective content for senior stakeholders and large audiences that illustrates the HR Technology strategy and critical delivery updates.

  • Support internal operations for the HR Technology function with efficiency and simplicity. Focus on outcomes while leveraging Agile principles and data driven reporting to go faster at scale.

The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of HR Technology delivery experience in global organizations with strong executive presence and the ability to organize transformative programs.
What you will do / lead your team to do:
  • Manage intake and prioritization to maintain HR Technology roadmaps and value realization metrics. Heavy focus on Workday delivery.

  • Ensure all initiatives are well organized, effectively scoped. Anticipate risks and actively manage issues in delivery.

  • Promote Agile best practices across multiple delivery teams and IT partners to ensure streamlined delivery practices.

  • Lead & develop a team of program managers who effectively plan, organize and execute initiatives.

  • Manage the financials for HR Technology (SW cost, internal & external labor), including vendor contracts and renewals

  • Develop strategic communications intended for executive leaders and large audiences

  • Establish a culture of data driven operational excellence for the HR Technology organization

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 10+ years of progressive business experience delivering transformation initiatives. HR Technology experience strongly preferred

  • Background in Management and/or Strategy Consulting preferred

  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written (e.g., PowerPoint), including experience effectively presenting to senior executives

  • Track record of solving client problems with technology-based solutions

  • Demonstrates complex/unstructured problem solving - from discovery, operationalizing a solution and execution

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders to ensure everyone feels heard and is aligned on both challenges and potential solutions

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative business analytics, including ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact

  • Ability to lead/influence cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization and work collaboratively in a matrixed environment

  • A bias for action, including balancing tradeoffs, a willingness to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get things done

  • Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside your comfort zone

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 136,000 USD - 189,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
