Job Summary:

Fortis Fire & Safety is seeking an Enterprise Applications Director that serves as the organization's internal subject matter expert for the Solutions Q360 platform, playing a central role in driving system optimization, reporting enhancements, and process improvement across the business. This position owns the ongoing health, configuration, and continuous improvement of Q360, partnering cross-functionally with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure the platform is fully leveraged to support business objectives.

The Enterprise Applications Director also leads user support and training efforts, manages application initiatives from concept through implementation, and helps shape the future direction of a critical enterprise system. This is a full-time opportunity offering the chance to play a key role in the future direction of a critical enterprise application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the organization's internal subject matter expert (SME) for the Solutions Q360 platform, providing authoritative guidance on system capabilities, configuration, and best practices.
  • Drive ongoing system optimization efforts, identifying and implementing enhancements that improve platform performance, usability, and alignment with business needs.
  • Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics within Q360 to deliver accurate, actionable insights to leadership and operational teams.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing existing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing solutions that streamline operations and improve data integrity.
  • Provide day-to-day user support, serving as the primary point of contact for Q360 questions, issues, and troubleshooting across all departments and locations.
  • Develop and deliver user training and documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), reference guides, and onboarding materials to support consistent platform adoption.
  • Manage the configuration, testing, and rollout of new modules, features, and system enhancements, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, service, and other departments to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and ensure the platform supports each group's objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison with the Solutions Q360 vendor, managing support tickets, escalations, upgrades, and release management.
  • Maintain data integrity and system security, including managing user access, roles, and permissions in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional application initiatives, managing projects from scoping through implementation and post-launch support.
  • Proactively monitor system health and performance, identifying risks and opportunities and communicating recommendations to leadership.
  • Contribute to the long-term application roadmap, helping shape the future direction, scalability, and strategic use of the Q360 platform.
  • Support special projects and additional enterprise application initiatives as business needs arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with the Solutions Q360 platform, including configuration, reporting, and administration.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications and business users in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Proven reporting, analytics, and process improvement experience, with the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted SME and partner across multiple departments, building strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and implementing system and process improvements.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, support escalations, and system upgrades.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy, integrity, and security.
