Job description

Job Summary
The role of a Senior Director is responsible for planning, directing and delivering Corporate and Localized HR services in support of Business unit/Divisional/Regional objectives. The role operates across all HR disciplines - such as Talent acquisition and retention, Learning and Development, Workforce Relations, Payroll, Risk Management and Compliance - to ensure that HCM expertise proactively supports the organizations continued growth through providing strategic and operational solutions to improve critical business outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
Scope: Cross-organization role. Establishes operational objectives and work plans, and delegates assignments to HR direct reports. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
    Job Complexity: Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives, as well as an understanding of company "politics." Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
    Discretion: Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations, and may jeopardize overall business activities.
    Interaction: Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or clients. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
    Supervision: Manages activities of one or more Director - Business Partner and HR Project Specialist direct reports.
Candidate Profile
Masters level education in relevant subject
    5+ years' experience operating in a similar high level, high profile role
    Proven track record of introducing and managing significant organizational change
    Highly effective communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
    Strong leader, able to lead by example and engender loyalty
    Relevant Professional Accreditation
    Credible and politically aware when dealing with all stakeholders
