Innomark Communications is seeking a candidate for a full-time, Mid to Senior-level web developer, located either at our Miamisburg or Fairfield, OH locations. The position reports to the IT Director. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5 p.m. A successful candidate will have excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills, and a strong ability to understand business needs and technology capabilities. A strong desire to learn and grow is essential for this position.

Position Summary:

Participate in requirements gathering sessions to gather business processes, current and desired. Use requirements gathered to design systems that fit the desired functionality of current or new systems. Develop and deploy code that fits the requirements gathered. Participate in testing at all stages, refactoring legacy and new code as needed.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop extensible systems based on business requirements, including required infrastructure.
  • Participate in requirements gathering sessions
  • Provide estimates for task completion time
  • Participate in collaborative code reviews.
  • Participate in collaborative code development
  • Participate in the aspects of a pseudo-agile development environment
  • Troubleshoot application and system bugs and provide effective and timely solutions.
  • Provide User-Training documentation.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented design and development principles Highly self-motivated, self-starter mentality
  • Time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to apply relational database design principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to provide feedback in a way that enables others
  • Strong experience with Web design concepts and ability to utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and well-versed with source control systems (TFS preferred)
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012R2-2022) Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012-2019) creating and running stored procedures
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, 4 or more years of related .net (ASP, VB, C#, MVC) experience; Exceptional people skills and ability to interface successfully with the customer.
  • Strong understanding of programming theory
  • Experience planning and successfully executing complex development projects.
  • Experience with Scrum, Agile or similar methodology. Experience with mobile development and MVC a plus.
