Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Permanent Position

Location: Kenosha, WI, 53140
Assignment Duration: Permanent
Open to Local & Travel Candidates

Position Highlights:

  • Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: $37.12 - $39.57/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a permanent basis. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help patients achieve their highest potential in communication and daily functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to patients across age groups, depending on setting (pediatric, adult, geriatric).
  • Document all services provided accurately, maintaining compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication and swallowing function.
  • Participate in team meetings, staff training, and continuing education.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid SLP License.
  • CCC-SLP from ASHA (preferred or CFY accepted based on facility).
  • Recent clinical experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Travel Pay:

  • Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
