These capabilities are crucial for delivering complex Salesforce solutions on time and within budget while ensuring client satisfaction.

Job description

Services Practices Director

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword — it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Services Practices Director to join our Professional Services team, focused on delivering security and compliance engagements that help customers maximize the value of their Salesforce investments — safely and at scale. In this client-facing leadership role, you will guide customers through security assessments, control frameworks, and implementation best practices across the Salesforce platform, including Agentforce.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and deliver end-to-end security engagements for enterprise customers, helping them design and operationalize secure Salesforce environments
  • Advise customers on security controls, governance frameworks, and compliance posture for SaaS platforms, with a focus on the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Partner with account teams and sales leadership to drive pre-sales efforts — including discovery conversations, solution scoping, and executive presentations
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior security stakeholders (CISO, CTO, VP of IT Security)
  • Develop and refine practice delivery methodologies, accelerators, and reusable assets related to Salesforce security
  • Support the growth of the security practice by contributing to thought leadership, go-to-market strategies, and team mentoring
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Trust teams to stay current on the Salesforce security roadmap
What We're Looking For
  • 7–12+ years of professional experience, including a meaningful tenure at a Big 4 consulting firm (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) in a technology risk, cybersecurity, or enterprise advisory capacity
  • Deep understanding of security fundamentals and controls frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls) as applied to SaaS platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to lead client-facing engagements and navigate complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong pre-sales and business development instincts — comfortable presenting to customers, shaping solutions, and closing statements of work
  • Experience delivering security assessments, identity & access management reviews, data classification, or compliance readiness engagements
  • Excellent executive communication and executive presence
Nice to Have
  • Hands-on Salesforce builder experience (Flows, Apex, configuration, or declarative development)
  • Familiarity with Agentforce, Einstein AI features, or Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Security Specialist)
  • Experience with zero-trust architectures or cloud security posture management (CSPM) in SaaS environments

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you'll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we'll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what's possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
