Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seking a Sales Enablement Lead to join the team in Houston.ย  The Sales Enablement Lead is an integral part of the sales and business development team within Consulting. The successful candidate will develop and deliver impactful, meaningful, tailored and brand compliant sales campaigns across multiple sectors in support of Wood's sales and business development strategy.

The primary objective of the role is the creation and execution of a sales enablement plan that will successfully support business objectives, market growth focus, customer relationships, and business development operations, and is aligned to and in support of the Wood business strategy and objectives.

The role demands an experienced, highly motivated, engaging, persuasive individual that can take ownership of sales enablement for the Americas region and it's deployment, articulating customer value propostions, creating key messages and their delivery, as well as a clear and knowledgeable understanding of external and internal customers, stakeholders and channels.

This is a multi-faceted role that requires an adept and passionate professional that will be responsible for providing the sales teams and client facing teams with the resources and materials they require. Resources may include content, tools, knowledge, case studies/project resumes, client facing presentations, channel marketing, webinars and drive a targeted and measured approach evidencing on ROI and helping increase our win rate and client engagement; provide guidance and support to key client & sales presentations and proposals; and manage direct sector customer communications.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the service line and business development to create sales enablement plans that successfully support the service line business objectives, both for internal and external sales.
  • Supports the development and leads in the delivery of service line key messages.
  • Manage cross-functional delivery projects, including developing content, project plans and schedules for each
  • Leads in the capture and analysis of marketing data, conversion metrics, and alignment to CRM, to guide effectiveness of sales enablement activity and campaigns
  • Ensures all sales activity and collateral is brand compliant, of a consistent and high quality, aligned to wider business and group plans, and coordinated with group marketing and communications activities
  • Within the wider business unit and brand context/framework, helps ensure the articulation of consistent and meantingful customer value proposition for the service line and its capability offering.
  • Take complex, technical topics and turn them into compelling content to drive internal and external sales
  • Collaborates with marcomms, creative services and creative partners to drive innovation in content and channels
  • Develop strong working relationships with key internal business stakeholders
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the service line and wider business by communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member by facilitating the development and distribution of content

Skills / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in a business, marketing or sales communication related field.ย 

Knowledge, skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar sales, communications or marketing role, preferably within the energy industry but not critical.
  • Experience in an international B2B environment, preferably including internal marketing in a large and complex organisation
  • Knowledge of communication and marketing methods and channels relevant to a large, complex organisation, with demonstrable experience using a multi-channel strategy including but not limited to management of print, online, apps, email, media, social media, webinars, blogs, events, speaking engagements, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of digital marketing channels, measurement tools and metrics, best practices and trends.
  • Awareness of market and industry issues and trends.
  • Experience in content creation, campaign delivery and measurement.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills; proofreading and editing capability.
  • Skills in research, data gathering and analysis.
  • Project planning, execution and ownership
